What does this privacy policy cover?

This policy covers getgoldennerves.com, the Golden Nerves information site run by Getgoldennerves. It does not cover the checkout, which runs on a separate order page operated by the BuyGoods order desk under its own privacy policy.

This site is a set of static pages. There are no accounts, no logins, no comment forms and no shopping cart stored here. When you click an order button, you leave this site and go to the checkout provider. Anything you type there, such as your name, address or card number, goes to that provider, not to us.

This policy was last updated on September 22, 2026. If we change it, we will update that date at the top of the page.

What information do we collect?

We collect very little. We keep the emails you choose to send us, and our web host keeps basic server logs that every website produces.

Emails you send us

If you email us, we receive your email address, your name if you include it, and whatever you write. We use it only to reply, to fix an error you reported or to handle a privacy request. We do not add you to a mailing list.

Server logs

When any browser loads a web page, it sends some technical details. These usually include your IP address, browser type, the page you asked for, the page that sent you and the time. Our host records these in standard logs. We use them only to keep the site working and secure.

Does this site use cookies?

This site sets no cookies from its own code. It does load fonts from Google Fonts, and the checkout provider sets its own cookies once you reach the order page.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time. Blocking cookies will not affect how our pages read. It may affect the checkout, so check the provider's instructions if you have trouble paying.

Do we sell or share your information?

No. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for advertising. We share it only when the law requires it, or when it is needed to answer your request.

For example, if you email us about an order, we may point you to the order desk. We will not pass on your message without telling you first. We may also share information to protect the site from fraud or abuse, or if a court or government agency makes a valid legal demand.

What privacy rights do US residents have?

Depending on your state, you may have the right to know what we hold about you, to get a copy, to have it corrected or deleted, and to opt out of any sale. We honor these requests for all US visitors, whatever state you live in.

California's privacy law (the CCPA, as amended by the CPRA) is the most familiar example. Several other states, such as Virginia, Colorado and Connecticut, have similar laws. Because we collect so little, most requests are quick to answer.

   For order, payment or shipping records, we will point you to the checkout provider, which holds that data.

We will not treat you differently for making a request. If we deny a request, we will tell you why. You may also use an authorized agent where your state allows it.

How do we protect information?

The site loads over a secure HTTPS connection, and we keep what we collect to a minimum. The less we hold, the less there is to lose.

Emails are kept in a password-protected inbox that only the Editorial Desk can reach. We delete messages we no longer need. No system is perfectly secure, but we do not store card numbers, passwords or order records here, so a problem on our side could not expose them.

What about children's privacy?

This site is for adults. Golden Nerves is not meant for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

If you believe a child has sent us personal information, email [email protected]. We will delete it promptly.

What about links to other sites?

Our pages link to outside sites, such as the checkout, Google Fonts and US health agencies. Those sites have their own privacy policies, and this policy does not cover them.

When we cite research, we link to public pages at places like the NIH Office of Dietary Supplements. Clicking those links takes you to their sites, where their rules apply. Order links are marked as sponsored, since we earn money from purchases, as explained on the about page.

How will we tell you about changes to this policy?

If we change how we handle information, we will update this page and move the Last updated date forward. We will not start using your information in a new way without saying so here first.

Small edits, such as fixing a typo or a broken link, may happen without notice. Changes to what we collect, why we collect it or who we share it with will always be described on this page. If you emailed us before a change and want your messages deleted, just ask.
